Our Commitment
At PLUTO Salt Bread, we are committed to providing you with the highest quality fresh-baked products. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds or exchanges may be provided.
Order Cancellations
Pre-orders:
- You may cancel your pre-order up to 48 hours before the scheduled pickup/delivery time for a full refund
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before pickup/delivery may not be eligible for a refund, as we begin production based on confirmed orders
- To cancel an order, please contact us immediately at hello@plutosaltbread.com.au
Same-day orders:
- Same-day orders cannot be cancelled once placed, as production begins immediately
Quality Issues
If you receive a product that does not meet our quality standards, we will gladly provide a refund or replacement. Quality issues may include:
- Product is stale or past its best-before state upon receipt
- Product is damaged or spoiled
- You received the incorrect items
To report a quality issue, please:
- Contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order
- Provide photos of the affected product(s)
- Include your order number and description of the issue
Non-refundable Situations
Refunds will not be provided in the following circumstances:
- You did not pick up your order during the specified pickup window
- You provided an incorrect delivery address
- You changed your mind about the order after the cancellation period
- Product freshness deteriorated due to improper storage after pickup/delivery
- You have dietary restrictions or allergies that were not communicated at the time of ordering
Refund Process
Once your refund request is approved:
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days
- You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been initiated
- Please allow additional time for your financial institution to process the refund
Exchanges
Due to the perishable nature of our products and made-to-order production model, we generally cannot offer exchanges. However, if you received incorrect items, we will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Force Majeure
In the event that we are unable to fulfill your order due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., equipment failure, extreme weather, public health emergencies), we will offer a full refund or the option to reschedule your order.
